ST additional racing spring kits for coilover kits
With the additional ST racing spring kits we offer to individually adapt the setup of your ST coilover kit to your needs.
Our additional racing spring kits are available in different spring rates and lengths, therefore allowing a more sporty or even more comfortable suspension setup.
Spring markings – what you should know
Example: FA 70-170*
FA = front axle (RA = rear axle), 70 = spring rate, 170 = spring length, * = high-strength racing spring made out of a material with higher load capacity
What does spring rate and spring length mean?Spring rate:
The spring rate shows, how much power (in kg) is needed to compress the spring by 10mm. The higher the spring rate, the harder the spring itself is. Example: At a spring rate of 70, the spring will be compressed by 10mm at a load of 70kg.
Lower spring rate = less setup frequency, the vehicle is getting more comfortable and lower at payload.
Higher spring rate = higher setup frequency, the vehicle is getting sportier and less low at payload.
Spring length:
Information on the length of the spring in mm
Longer spring = less possible lowering
Shorter spring = more possible lowering
Make it Yours! – individual spring colours and markings
